UCLA faculty experts advisory: Will Obama Close Guantanamo?
President-elect Barack Obama's transition team has reportedly been crafting a proposal that would bring terror suspects held at Guantanamo Bay to the U.S. to face criminal trials. The move, which would make good on Obama's campaign pledge to close the naval-base detention center, could involve substantive changes to the U.S. legal system. UCLA has experts on the issues.
