As the global demand for oil soars and prices rise, energy companies are going to the ends of the earth to find new supplies. Join author and journalist Steve LeVine for a discussion of his new book, "The Oil and the Glory," about the race for oil in the Caspian region — a timely story about how oil deals get done in the context of bad, unstable and often corrupt governance. The program will include a roundtable discussion and a question-and-answer period. A book signing and refreshments will follow the program.
This event is the first in a new series presented by the UCLA Anderson School of Management on key regions and critical issues around the globe. Sponsors include the UCLA Anderson Center for International Business Education and Research, the UCLA International Institute, UCLA Anderson Net Impact and the UCLA Sustainable Resource Center.
