Biography
Ian Cook, associate professor of psychiatry, is director of depression research at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA. He comments regularly on issues related to depression, psychotherapy and suicide rates.
 
Cook specializes in research aimed at improving treatment for brain disorders. He has written extensively about brain function in mental illness and in aging.
