Biography
Ann Carlson, professor of law and faculty director of the UCLA Emmett Center on Climate Change and the Environment, is a leading environmental law expert.
 
Carlson researches constitutional questions affecting environmental law and policy, including the division of regulatory authority between states and the federal government. She has expertise in a variety of topics, including environmental law and policy, constitutional law, climate-change policy, land-use regulation, state and federal emissions standards, and public interest law.
 
She is member of the UCLA Institute of the Environment.
