Biography
Riedl, an assistant professor of clinical immunology and allergy at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, is a regularly quoted allergy expert whose research interests include the development of novel therapeutics for the treatment of allergic and immunodeficient conditions, the study of compounds to reduce the inflammatory effects of air pollution, and immune tolerance induction for allergy prevention.
 
Riedl is an expert on the link between air pollution and allergy symptoms, the effects of pet allergies on children, the effect of fires on respiratory health and methods for avoiding and alleviating fire-related health problems.
