Biography
Brymer, director of terrorism and disaster programs at the UCLA-Duke National Center for Child Traumatic Stress, focuses on how children deal with stress following a disaster, how best to offer psychological assistance in the aftermath of disasters, and the role the center can play in such relief.
 
Most recently, the center teamed with a publishing company in China to distribute 10,000 free copies of their "Psychological First Aid Field Operations Guide," co-authored by Brymer, following the May 12, 2008, earthquake in China's Sichuan Province.
