By filtering soil through a fine-meshed screen, archaeological crews were able to isolate even the smallest grains, seeds and fish bones. The process will allow researchers to reconstruct the Ancient Egyptian diet circa 5200 BC and identify the extent to which the culture relied on domesticated over wild food.
