Japanese Transplant Recipients Made Donations
The Los Angeles Times reported Saturday that two Japanese nationals with ties to Japanese organized crime groups made donations to UCLA after receiving liver transplants at UCLA Medical Center between 2000 and 2004. The story was also reported today by ABC News and Saturday by the Associated Press, United Press International, London’s Telegraph and KABC-Channel 7. Labor Contract Talks Linked to Commencement
The Associated Press reported Friday that the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees called off a scheduled strike at University of California campuses and re-entered contract negotiations with the university.
