Students Rally to Support Higher Ed
The Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, the Associated Press, Agence France-Presse, the LA Weekly and La Opinión report today on Thursday's rallies and other activities on the UCLA campus by students, faculty and union members participating in a statewide day of protests aimed at addressing budget cuts and reduced funding for higher education. The day's events were covered Thursday by CNN, KCBS-Channel 2, KTLA-Channel 5, KABC-Channel 7, KCAL-Channel 9, KTTV-Channel 11, KFI-640 AM and KNX-1070 AM, among other media.
