Research by Curtis Deutsch, UCLA assistant professor of atmospheric and oceanic sciences, and colleagues that found that even a modest increase in global warming is likely to negatively affect the health of organisms in tropical regions was featured today by United Press International, BBC News, the Independent (U.K.) and New Scientist magazine and Monday by Reuters, the Associated Press, MSNBC, Agence-France Presse, LiveScience, China’s Xinhua News and other media outlets.
