Bruins Give Back During UCLA Volunteer Day
The Los Angeles Times and the Los Angeles Daily News report today, and KTTV-Channel 11, KABC- Channel 7 and a Los Angeles Times blog reported Tuesday, on UCLA's first-ever Volunteer Day, during which 4,300 UCLA freshmen and transfer students and hundreds of faculty, staff, alumni and older undergraduates visited schools, hospitals, parks and other sites across Los Angeles to perform acts of public service. Chancellor Gene Block and several student volunteers were quoted in the coverage.
 
Med Students and Patient Privacy Online
