UCLA Veterans Day ceremony to feature speakers
State Sen. Ted Lieu and UCLA alum-veteran-entrepreneur to speak
[Update, Thursday, Nov. 8, 11 a.m.: Due to the potential for rain, the UCLA Veterans Day ceremony will not be held in Wilson Plaza; it will be held indoors, at Collins Court in the John Wooden Center (map).]
WHAT:
The UCLA community will gather on campus to honor those who have served in the U.S. military and fought in the nation's wars — including UCLA students, alumni, faculty and staff.

Speakers at the ceremony will include:
Gene Block
Chancellor of UCLA
Jim Cragg
UCLA alumnus, veteran, and president and CEO of Special Operations Technologies Inc.
Ted Lieu
California state senator and lieutenant colonel in U.S. Air Force Reserves
Col. John Carl, U.S.M.C.
Professor and chair of UCLA Department of Naval Science

FILMING OPPORTUNITIES:
The event will feature a color guard and ROTC cadets in uniform.
